What kind of surfaces can I ride it on?The Powerboard is designed to be ridden on smooth dry surfaces such as Tarmac, cement, wood, metal, fiberglass and concrete. The Powerboard is not waterproof and should not be ridden in rain or wet areas to prevent electrical damage. How does the Powerboard work?The board is powered by an electric motor and sealed lead acid batteries. It is controlled with a handheld wireless remote control, you simply stand on the board and pull the trigger or press the buttons to accelerate and brake. How big are the Powerboards?Powerboard PB-1 is 70cm long, 20cm wide and 12.5cm tall.Powerboard PB-2 is 102cm long, 27cm wide and 14cm tall. How fast does it go?Powerboard PB-1 can cruise at speeds of up to 12mph depending on rider weight and riding surface.Powerboard PB-2 can cruise at speeds of up to 15mph depending on rider weight and riding surface. How far will it go?Powerboard PB-1 has a range of about 5 miles depending on rider weight and riding surface.Powerboard PB-2 has a range of about 9 miles depending on rider weight and riding surface. What is the maximum rider weight?Powerboard PB-1 maximum weight is 140 lbs (10 stone) Powerboard PB-2 maximum weight is 170 lbs (12 stone) What is the minimum age?We suggest that no one under the age of 12 ride the Powerboard What is the life expectancy on the batteries?The rechargeable batteries that power your Powerboard should last 2-3 years if kept charged but will slowly decrease in capacity and eventually fail to hold a charge. To maintain maximum life always keep your Powerboard charged, when storing for extended periods plug in once a month to maintain the charge. Replacement batteries are available. How long does it take to recharge the batteries ?Approximately 120 minutes How do I use the Powerboard?Turn the switch on the Powerboard to "ON" and step onto the board assuming your normal skateboard stance. PB-1: Press the left hand button to accelerate and the right hand button to brake. PB-2: Pull the trigger towards you to accelerate and push away from you to brake. How do you turn on a Powerboard?Just like a normal skateboard, simply lean forward or backward to turn in either direction. How should I store the Powerboard when not in use?Always store the Powerboard on the wheels level, not standing on end. To maintain maximum battery life always keep your Powerboard charged, when storing for extended periods plug in once a month to maintain the charge. Are Powerboards dangerous?They can be if common sense is not used. Caution must be used at all times and appropriate safety gear, helmet, goggles, suitable footwear and knee and elbow pads are recommended.The Powerboard should not be used without adult supervision and is designed for one rider only. Do not use the Powerboard in crowded areas. The user assumes all risk associated with the use of the Powerboard. What is the Warranty?The Powerboard comes with a manufacturers 90 day warranty from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover malfunction resulting from neglect, misuse, abuse, modifications to the board or failure to follow all safety and use warnings. Can I get spare parts?Yes , a full range of replacement parts for the Powerboards is available.
