The mesh allows air to easily flow through, keeping you cool. The large attachment tabs securely hold your socks in place if you are plaing ice hockey. Dressing youth players is greatly simplified by this piece of gear. We have found that many people want the advantages of the lycra Original HockeyJock, but don't want to wear the compression shorts. The Jock Short is the solution. One of the things we have found players enjoy about the combo is that they can put it on at home, then dress at the rink - without having to get completely naked in the dressing room.
