What features should my helmet have?

To protect the face you will also need a cage, shield, or half shield. Some of the helmets are available as a combo and come pre-assembled with a cage or a shield. Both cages and shields provide good protection. A traditional cage is the most durable and provides the best ventilation. Shields offered a better range of vision, but do not provide as good as ventilation as a traditional cage. Both styles of face guards should fit snugly to the chin when the mouth is closed.

How do I ensure a perfect fit?

When the helmet arrives you will need to adjust the helmet so it fits snug upon the head without pinching. To do this you will need open the helmet using the adjustment mechanism. Place the helmet on the head and gradually begin to close the helmet until it fits snugly on the head and does not wobble. Then tighten the adjustment mechanism.
