First you will need to put on an elbow pad. Next, put on the your new gloves, check to see that you forearms are properly protected (no skin showing). Finally, you will need to grasp a stick, to ensure proper stick handling. While holding the stick make sure that there is some excess room in the fingers of the glove, if your fingers are to the ends of the glove, they are too small.
